Sprite Club has met for the second time and we chatted about our experiences with the monolith that is Metal Slug 3. We’ll get a review together in the next couple of weeks. In attendance this month were
- Jason – @mixmasterfestus
- Dan – @shinyhappydan
- Shaun – @mr_sands
- Mike – @mrs_kensington
- Paul – @paulbailey
There was food, booze and chatting. Lovely.
The conversation eventually turned towards the next game for Sprite Club. After much (not much) debate we decided on a few key factors for March’s Sprite Club outing, they were:
- No platformers, we’d played platformers for the last 3 months…
- Something a bit more accessible, hoping to get some new members this month
- Something everyone can play, cardinal rule of Sprite Club
With this in mind we have picked 2 games this month which are

Borderlands

Auditorium
We picked Borderlands because it’s new, popular, online and has great cross compatibility support and Auditorium because its free (to an extent), different and anyone can play it.
Here’s the details
- Borderlands is available on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC best bought from wherever http://www.find-games.co.uk/ says so
- Auditorium is available on their website. Demo is free so if you like it, pay up boyo!
The meeting for these games is tentatively
Sunday 11th of April, 2010
Most likely meeting at the Roxy Bar & Screen in Borough though that might change. Get playin!
